John is a knowledgeable solar professional with five years of experience educating and guiding homeowners transitioning to solar energy.

As a Solar Sales Consultant and project manager, he has helped families and individuals across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., join the solar revolution. Before joining the Lumina team, John worked for two small solar companies in Colorado and Virginia. He holds a Master of Natural Resources from the Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability and a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability Studies from Colorado Mountain College. He also received an in-depth introduction to the solar industry by completing an internship at Solar Energy International in Paonia, Colorado. John enjoys spending family time outside with his son, whether swimming in the summertime or sliding down the snow in the winter. He is passionate about music, playing, and listening and exhibits a genuine enthusiasm for discussing renewable energy
